Kaiser Soze's little brother

In a continuing effort to out-do Joe I also have an entry with a red mushroom hat. This is a study of a little known mushroom Kaiser that is briefly visible in Disney's 1967 classic "The Gnome-Mobile".
critiques welcome, though I realize the problems are plentiful.

Cool painting dave, for some reason I always like the way you paints black boots...I know that is a little random. my only critique is the cain looks like it could double as a tail.

After Jerm's comment I can't get the image of this guy as a mouse out of my head. I really like him, though.
Squeak, squeak!

Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze's little brother.

I thought it was a sheath for a sword...and since Jeremy commented on the lovely boots, I don't feel as awkward for having stared at them for a long time...still awkward-just not as much.

Somewhere in between the worlds of Joe Olsen and Bill Whitaker, there lives Dave Malan.

Cool.
