Xanax and Allegra, Conquerors of Zyban!

I was bummed I never found time to do this topic so hooray for this "Catch Up" one.

I've always found an amusing similarity in the names in fantasy novels and the names of prescription drugs, thus the title.

The White Fox

LeprePrincess

My last "Royalty" entry just outright sucked.

The Pig People of Padulang, Utah

New Topic: CATCH UP

Okay, since we can't post any DarkStalkers images that might go into the book (until later), let's have an interrim topic to keep people busy. Sebastien's post reminded me of an idea we've been talking about:

Pick an old topic you didn't get to do, or that you weren't happy with your entry, and do it now.

Any questions?

Better late than never

Zigfreid,12, is the youngest Snow Monster Hunter alive. He's captured thirty six beasts so far in a short but impressive career that started when he was only 7 years old.
Here is a photo of him taken on December 18th 2008 in Antarctica with his latest catch, a Category Six 2.3 tons Monster.

New Topic: DARKSTALKERS

You know, the game.

Usually I prefer to avoid this type of topic, but it sounds like a lot of people are already working on something, so this just gives them a place to post it.

There's supposedly a way to submit these for an upcoming Capcom book, but I don't have any of the information so it might be nice if someone else can supply it.

Pig Chieftain

I think I interpreted this differently. As soon as you say pig I think "Mmmmmh Pig." And that is about as far as it goes.

What do you want!?

After the Big Bad Wolf incident, Larry and is two brothers no longer trusted anyone who came knocking at their door, especially little girls pitchin' their baked goods.

But provokers aren't common, on this island of hogmen.

After 5 feasts every day, nobody feels like provoking anyone. They just sit around and feel sleepy between meals.

A kindly folk...who attack when provoked

The Pig People were a kindly folk

A planet were man evolved from pigs?! Nope, just a town. I think it's in Wisconsin somewhere.

New Topic: THE PIG PEOPLE OF PADULANG

Topic by Joe Olson---take it where you wish.

Merman was a Pisces

Two topics, one post.

Pisces

Here's is an updated 'work in progress'. Thanks for the comments and thanks to Seb for helping me make this piece look better.

Captain Crab

Look I am not going to lie to you. I thought this was going to be cool. Hell, on paper what could be better than a pirate crab with a hook and wooden leg. Well, maybe you have had an experience like this where you are constantly adding more crap thinking that perhaps it will save the piece. Eventually you end up with something like this. Sadly enough, I think this is more of the rule for me than the exception.

Aquarius

I always imagined Aquarius was something really cool, like some kind of demon god of the sea:

Then when I did some research for this topic, I found out that Aquarius really looks like this:

Lame.

Zodiac

I couldn't remember my sign, so I drew them all.
Please note this should not be used as an actual star guide.

The Archer

I am a Sagittarius.

I Got Crabs

I am a Cancer.

New Topic: ZODIAC

This one is open to broad interpretation, but the original idea was to illustrate your zodiac sign. Don't feel like you need to stick to the actual definition of your sign!

Jekyll & Hyde

Sir Hyde

Offered without comment.

Jekyll and Hyde

We should do more subjects like this. This was fun to paint.

HYDE

I used to have this issue in a box in my parent's garage, but they sold it at a yard sale for a dime.

The Mighty Sandwich

Dr. Jekyll's potion is as to Castle Crasher's Sandwich.

SNOW MONSTER!!!

Early for winter, late for the challenge.

Happy Halloween!

Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde

This is a really quick color sketch so please overlook any obvious mistakes. I wanted to get it in before Halloween was over and I'm sure there is lots of things I could do to make it better, but here you go anyway.

Halloween Topic: DR. JEKYLL/MR. HYDE

This is a temporary topic, we'll still be doing He-man after the 31st. So sideline your He-Man projects for a few days and try to contribute something before Halloween!

Beast-Man

More skeletor

I'm not a he-man fan, but I like skeletons ...

Skeletor!!

Obviously I was very apprehensive to post this after seeing Kevin's but oh well... couldnt let all this work go to waste. Heres my take on skeletor, learned alot.

The Evil Lord of Destruction!

Buzz Off!

Buzz Off was so cool when I was kid & then I found a picture of the toy for reference and I realized how lame it is.

Sorceress of Greyskull

Here is my take on the Sorceress of Castle Greyskull.

orko

He-Man was nothing without Orko. These make him look like Vivi though. Maybe they are cousins.

Prince Adam

Second only to Clark Kent in the "worst alter-ego ever" contest.

He-Man

New Topic: MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE

Adam started this whole thing a while back with his He-Man redesign, and he asked Ryan and I to both do takes on different characters. Now, with Adam's approval, we want to make the topic public.

You define the parameters, whether you're doing an homage to the greatness of He-man (!) or if you just want to make fun of the silliness of it all.
