A tiny bite

Here's my quickie attempt to really focus on varying shape sizes. I totally used shape types that I frequently use though, so nothing new there.
I'd be happy with any critiques or paintovers. If I get some inspiring suggestions I might end up taking it further or giving it some color. Thanks!

Very fun. Is this your creature of the deep piece as well?

Yeah, I should have specified that. I just wanted to try the design exercise as well.

I think you dealt with the design exercise very well.
I'm not sure what I would suggest to improve the design itself. However, if you were taking it a step further and were creating a character, I would say that you still need to find the character in the design. Did that make sense?

Yeah, I can see what you mean. He's just kind of dumb and fishy. I'll play around with the face and see what I can come up with.

I'd do a paintover, but no one's going to learn from that. This is great, Sam. I love the lighting, and I especially love the fish's teeth.

That big fish wants to bite that little fish like the little fish is a hamburger. Mmmm! Hamburger!
