I intend to do a color version of this guy, but I wanted to work on a drawing for a background I had in mind first. So until then, I'll just post this drawing that I did to try to figure out just how I wanted him to look. I have a few things I'll probably change once it goes to color but not too much different than this.

Great character design and values. I like that you went sepia with the gradient from light to dark, too.

Thats great Adam. Very nicely rendered and the shapes are perfect. I think it looks cool how you've simplified as you move down.
