Fair Princess

After hammering out a few sketches of Link, I decided to go with Princess Zelda.

Couple of firsts here; first post to the Avalanche Art Blog and first stab at painting out my sketch lines. Neither were easy for me but I had fun and hope to do more of this in the days to come.

I really wanted to do a nice painting of an epic Zelda battle scene using all the newest evolution of characters with a full background, dynamic lighting and a complex composition but do it all in the old zelda style that we remember from the original.
